This episode goes out to one of our awesome listeners: Hector Santana, Jr.! Hector requested that we look at Foreign films and we gladly accepted! The show starts with a discussion of films we look forward to in the coming year, Dan recommends I Saw The Devil
(2011) from Korea, then we jump into the segments. First up is Chris Excess with two films from Mexico, Vacaciones de Terror
(1989) and Satanico Pandemonium
(1975), next is The Emily’s pick! She selects a Spanish film by Guillermo del Toro, The Devil’s Backbone (or El espinazo del diablo) from 2001. The third segment features a terrific breakdown of High Tension
(Haute Tension) (2003) by Levi Olson. If you didn’t like the ending of this great French film, hear Levi defend it, and give it another look!
Then it is time for the featured film of the show, a Japanese movie from 2009 called Shock Labyrinth
(Senritsu meikyû 3D). Find out if it’s worth your time!
Thank you so much for the episode suggestion, Hector! We had a lot of fun with it, and we hope you enjoy it!
Show Lineup: Boss Butcher, Bloody Lizzy, Wildman Willis, Dan of the Dead, Kelly Killbot and The Evil Druid! Segments with Chris Excess, The Emi1y and Levi Olson.

A patchwork episode for Halloween! The crew was a bit scattered this time out, but we managed to come up with some individual recommendations, and had two movies to review, plus Bloody Lizzy added a “Creepy Pasta” scary story for you all! First off, we are joined again by our good friend Levi Olson, The Unknown Murderer, and we we begin with our personal Halloween recommendations for you! Levi suggests The Devil’s Rain
(1975), Kelly Killbot recommends “found footage” pioneering film, The Last Broadcast
(1998), Willis hypes The Curse of Chucky
(2013), Boss brings in a vampire flick, The Moth Diaries (2011), Dan of the Dead’s Halloween “go to” movie is John Carpenter’s The Thing
and finally, Chris Excess goes deep and recommends David Cronenberg’s Shivers
Next are the main features! We look at Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight
(1995) and Satan’s Little Helper
(2004). At the end of the show, Bloody Lizzy tells you a scary story, Room 409, “Creepy Pasta” style! For you adventurers, after the ending theme there is a brief discussion between Boss and Chris Excess about The Day of The Dead or Día de Muertos, to be correct. Hope you enjoy the episode and have a great Halloween!
